Davril Jewels is delighted to be presenting the stunning gold and diamond ‘Symphony’ necklace for auction at a ‘Best of British’ gala celebration hosted by the Lord Mayor of London at The Guildhall in London for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
The necklace brings together the quintessential values of British craftsmanship, showcasing the wealth of skill and talent emanating from Hatton Garden, the hub of the British jewellery industry.
Handmade in Davril’s on-site workshop in Hatton Garden, the necklace features a central 1ct briolette diamond, crafted ‘en tremblant’. This represents the first ever briolette diamond, known as The City, given to James I by the merchants of the City of London over 500 years ago. The fluidity and motion of the 18ct white gold wire work and its organic 3-dimentional design is enhanced with the scattered droplets of black and white diamonds totalling over 1.5cts
